Resolutions for the new year, v 1.0
1. Keep blog updated.
Since we've stopped traveling it seems like there isn't as much to write about, things seem much more mundane. Not that it's a bad thing but it rarely makes for interesting reading.
2. More Road Trips.
For NYE we decided to go visit our old friends and workmates at Nakiska, we loaded up the car and made it there in just under 4 hours driving . Not so bad, made a bit of a pit-stop in Calgary to watch 'Sweeny Todd' which I thought was fantastic, loads of blood and spontaneous singing. Perfect!
It was great to catch up with our friends and it made us remember how much fun we had when we were working there. Having said that I have absolutely no regrets about not going back. We'll get to see most of the people again when we make trips to other ski-hills, we've definitely got it pretty sweet here in Fernie.
3. Drink less beer.
Probably doesn't need an explanation. Snowboarding when you are hung-over really sucks.
4. Take more photos.
Marika and I seem to have gotten into this terrible habit of taking the camera with us wherever we go, unfortunately we often forget to actually use it!
5. Well, I don't actually believe in resolutions.
Fair enough if setting little goals works for you, personally I can't remember ever making and keeping one. Who knows, maybe this is the year?
Anyways, enough of this nonsense. I'm off to draft a five year plan, you need to think about these kind of things when you get to my age.
